The latest installment in EA’s soon-to-be-renamed soccer series comes with a major leveling overhaul for FIFA 23. In FIFA 23, you can develop your pro player in many new ways, including Volta Football and new management games.
In the past, Pro Clubs was more of an authentic FIFA soccer experience, while Volta is more of a casual, arcade-style mode where you can play against friends or random opponents online. EA says FIFA 23 will bring the two modes closer this year, allowing players to earn experience points for their pros by playing Volta Football’s more outdoor mode.
In addition to developing your Pro in Volta, you can also work offline and earn XP in 66 skill games. These quick workouts can even be done while you wait in the Pro Clubs lobby, so you’ll have something to do while your game fills up.
You’ll earn player XP from completing skill games, and these will reset every week, meaning you’ll have more room to level up your pro.
In addition, EA says that it listened to feedback from players who said that, in general, the update takes too long. You won’t need as much experience to level up in FIFA 23, and the amount of experience you need to level up has been reduced overall.

Volta has six new arcade games for FIFA 23, including Dribble King, Obstacle Course, Foot Golf, Four-Squares, Battle Buckets, and Capture the Ball. Again, playing them with your pro will earn the player XP, which can be returned to pro clubs.
EA says it has nothing more to announce about FIFA 23 crossplay, so we may have to wait a bit longer before seeing it in-game.
