Every time a new World of Warcraft expansion is released, we regularly receive news about Blizzard’s iconic MMORPG: new talents, new classes, new areas, and more. Fortunately, that’s not our only source of information, as the information pipeline has a faucet called data mining. The good folks at WoWhead.com took to this resource and found many new Warlock abilities and talents in the latest alpha build.
In the general class tree, we have gifts like Inquisitor’s Gaze, which adds a DoT to your target when you fill a Soul Shard, Dark Harvest Teaching, which increases the demons you summon by reducing their cooldowns and other effects, and Legion Artifact Talent. Gift. , Sweet Souls, which buffs health gems and causes party or raid members to heal you when they use their health gem.
There is Pandemic Call in the enchantment tree, which returns after being an Azerite ability in Battle for Azeroth. The ability causes a Corruption, Agony, or Life Leech refresh that deals Shadow damage and grants you a Soul Shard. Tormented Soul is a brand new ability that places a DoT on nearby enemies – the DoT becomes more powerful based on the number of Tormented Souls you have and pick up from slain targets.
For Demonology, we have Hold This For Me/Fel Explosion/Fiendish Wrath, which makes your felguard throw his ax at a target location, dealing AoE and DoT to nearby enemies. Your felguard also deals slashing damage and attacks faster with your bare hands (wonder why he uses an axe). Additionally, demon lovers have access to the Wrathful Minion, which increases animal damage when you get a Soul Fragment; Demonic Inspiration, which increases your pet’s speed when you gain a Soul Shard; and Birth of Blood, which gives Hand of Gul’dan a chance to create a Demonic Core.
