Square Enix’s latest Final Fantasy spinoff, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, could be a great download. Here’s what you need to know.
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is a remake of the original Final Fantasy. Developed by Team Ninja, this latest initiative aims to bring a more mature and challenging experience to the cult JRPG.
Players take on the role of Jack Garland, as many memes will tell you, destroying the chaos of one man’s hellish desire. Along with a few comrades, the group will travel to explore their role as light warriors.
Those who pre-ordered the game got 72 hours of early access. For the rest, the game will be officially launched on March 18. According to a Twitter account @PlaystationSizeThe game has a fairly small download size.
A Twitter account dedicated to revealing the file sizes of upcoming PlayStation games has revealed that the download size of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is 71,505 GB. This is for the PlayStation 5 and without the first patch of the day.
Although the size is only for the PS5, we can expect a similar size for the PS4 and Xbox consoles.

Such a download is not unheard of for Final Fantasy games. These RPGs were traditionally larger at just over 80GB with Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade.
That said, partially large game contenders will need to free up space on their systems to comfortably fit Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin.
The game is already available as part of a three-day early access period and will launch on March 18 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | It will be officially released for S and Windows PC.
