Jeff Simpkins, COO of Resolve, said: “We have been honored to work with such a prestigious brand as Williams Racing. We would like to build on the incredible foundation we have laid in the RLCS, using our lessons to reach new milestones. Our ambitions for next season are much higher and I look forward to sharing more of our Fortnite adventure. Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support so far. The Rocket League community has been fantastic and we can’t wait to have another successful season!”

Stephen English, director of Williams Esports, said: “It’s great to lead Williams to another new title by joining Fortnite as part of our renewed partnership with Resolve. We were thrilled with our first steps in Rocket League this season. Feedback on Williams’ entry into a brand new arena has been very positive and we saw a lot of potential for future success by finishing in the top 5 at our first major tournament. We are now invited to work with Resolve on both Fortnite and Rocket League. In recent years, Fortnite has continued to grow and engage a huge number of players, so it’s a natural move for us to continue to expand Williams’ reach beyond racing. When we step into a new title, we want to make sure we can succeed – in all areas, not only in competition – so we’re confident you can achieve this in Fortnite with Resolve.”

It has been a very successful 2021/22 season for Williams Resolve. In fact, the British organization entered the top 10 European autumn-winter stages of the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS). In addition, the team also had the highest number of viewers at a single European RLCS match, with over 125,000 spectators tuned in to see it play against Karmine Corp.
