Capcom’s next multiplayer co-op game, Exoprimal, has surfaced as part of Sony’s latest State of Play.
Set in the year 2043, Exoprimal follows a group of alien warriors struggling to survive when strange whirlpools appear across the world. Using futuristic Exossuits, the group must face off against an army of deadly dinosaurs that pose a threat to humanity.
This new Capcom IP was announced as part of Sony’s latest State of Play presentation. Kellen Henny, Capcom’s Social Media Manager, said of the game, “Get ready to experience the thrill of controlling the Exossuit in the heat of battle to destroy a massive army of dinosaurs.”
When it comes to Exosuits, it seems like every team in existence is a true co-op venture with multiplayer, giving players a different style of play.
“Always superior to their enemies, Exofighter teams will have to coordinate and choose strategic combinations to overcome obstacles. Exoprimal is centered on cooperative multiplayer gameplay where each Exosuit has a clearly defined role.
Although Capcom has stated that the game will be released in 2023, Exoprimal’s final release date has yet to be announced.
