The latest addition to American Truck Simulator is an all-new Daimler Truck model that made its debut in the trucking game and on American roads almost simultaneously. Now you can add the Western Star 57X, part of the company’s “tough model trilogy,” to your fleet in American Truck Simulator thanks to a partnership between developer SCS Software and Western Star.
The 57X features a number of improvements over the Western Star 49X and 47X models, which debuted in 2020 and 2021, respectively. It has the longest cabin of the three and is available in 72-inch day cab and sleeper configurations.
In American Truck Simulator, you can choose between day cab and sleeper cab options, as well as three chassis types and two long chassis options. The set also includes five interior trim designs, a variety of powertrain options, and of course all the usual tweaks for headlights, fascias, paint, and more.
Here’s the real 57X reveal:
And here it is in American Truck Simulator:

The SCS incorporates many attractive high-tech features into its digital version of the 57X, such as a digital instrument cluster and C-arm side mirrors with integrated turn signals.
It is now available at any Western Star dealership in American Truck Simulator. The base price for the day cabin configuration is $118,765, while the dorm option will set you back $189,530 and requires you to be at least level 25.
It will be the perfect travel car when the Montana DLC releases this week.
