Full release scheduled for September 27

Obsidian Entertainment announced Friday that Grounded will exit Game Preview/Early Access development with version 1.0 on September 27, 2022.

The full version is expected to release the “biggest update ever” to the game and includes all 12 updates released since July 2020.

After the Summer Game Festival announced that the game was leaving Early Access in September, Grounded Game Director Adam Brenneke took to Twitter to share the long-awaited news.

The full version 1.0 of Grounded will allow players to complete its entire campaign and eventually uncover all the mystery behind their shrinking and the mysteries of Mad Scientist and the Yard.

As part of the major major release process, Obsidian has released its final major update, Public Test 0.14, for the Based Thursday Early Access period. In it, players can try new features such as Gnat pets and kitchen building.
