If you’ve managed to avoid all the Genshin Impact version 3.0 leaks at this point, you’re an expert at avoiding spoilers. They are everywhere. And for those who are actively looking for them, we have something to share. Another leaked gameplay video is from Closed Beta 3.0 showing the interior of Sumeru Tavern, and we’re pretty impressed with how good it looks.
A Reddit user named toon8 posted a clip of footage taken by a player named Kinpregs during the beta. Kinpregs has made the video private on YouTube, presumably to prevent copyright infringement, so you can watch it in this Reddit post.
They use an unreleased character from the five-star Dendro arc, Tignari, to break into a tavern said to be in the city of Sumeru. Future characters Colley and Dory are also at the party, but we don’t see them on screen.
As Tignari explores the tavern, we see the owner of the tavern, Limbad, as well as an NPC scout named Jafar. Limbad is also a vendor who seems to be selling cooking ingredients and possibly a variety of recipes that he can get from Wanmin Restaurant in Liyue and Shimura Kanbei in Inazuma City. Both NPCs have the same food icons above their heads.
The tavern appears to be a two-story building, much like Mondstadt’s Angel’s Share, though the decor, unsurprisingly, is markedly different from anything we’ve seen in Mondstadt, Liyue, or Inazuma.
