BYJU’S JAM: Kids Develop Games That Already Achieve Over 7,300 Views on Roblox

BYJU’s FutureSchool, the world’s largest educational technology in the field of interactive online education, announced the winners of the first BYJU’S JAM, the task of developing games on Roblox. The participating children had 10 days to create a game based on some requirements.

Over 170 entries were submitted, 152 games were judged and 11 were selected for the final round of student voting. The rated games had over 7300 views on the Roblox platform.

According to 12-year-old Fernando Loss Souza, winner of the Most Creative Game category: “The moment I started designing, I had a mix of emotions and ideas. As a central theme, I would like it to be something from everyday life, so I chose a simple pizzeria and designed it with entertainment in mind and respecting the rules of the competition. It was at that moment that I realized how much I learned from the BYJU course because I was able to develop a game in such a short time.”

As for Agatha Yazbek, mother of Sarah Yazbek, 11, winner of the Most Beautiful Game, “I was surprised by my daughter’s evolution over this year with BYJU’S, she has become more focused and focused, she has developed the ability to do turn-based programming. I also noticed her confidence in using a computer and her familiarity with the digital interface.”
