The popularity of League of Legends’ Teamfight Tactics autocombat continues to grow, with TFT patch 12.14 taking down the giant mage Nami from multiple positions.
Teamfight Tactics Set 7 Dragonlands is in full swing and players have plenty of new features to keep them stumped and of course adorable new Little Legends (including Dragon Mage Yasuo).
However, patch 12.14 for TFT is expected to change things again by lowering AD scaling for all champions in an effort to redirect power to character abilities and spells.
Aurelion Sol and Shyvana will also be going under the knife to tweak their kits a bit, and the ubiquitous and ever-dominant Nami brings some much-needed nerfs to her healing abilities.

TFT patch 12.14 reduces AD scaling
In an attempt to rebalance three-star AD champions so they don’t outplay the game, Riot has made some big changes to AD scaling.
The AD scale was decreased from 80% to 50% per star level, hit a bunch of champions. While lead designer Mortdog hopes players “don’t even realize [the changes] if we have done our job well”, we have a lot to understand.
The meta of the game will undoubtedly undergo some changes, but we will have to wait and see how this major update plays out.
Nami Nerf
Mortdog notes that Nami “has been a nuisance” throughout issue #7, and as a result, the Ocean Queen received much-needed nerfs on her healing abilities.
Originally scaled to 275/300/375, his healing has been reduced to 175/200/225 while his spell damage has received a slight buff. This represents a departure from the “healing-focused identity” that Riot originally had in mind.

- Attack Damage per Star Level: 80% ⇒ 50%
- 2 Star Attack Damage: 180% ⇒ 150%
- 3 Star Attack Damage: 325% ⇒ 225%
Ash
- Attack speed reduced from 0.75 to 0.7.
- Mana increased from 50/100 to 40/90
Anivia
Mana increased from 45/90 to 40/80.
ao shin
- Health increased from 900 to 1000.
- Mana reduction reduced from 20 to 10
- Spell damage per star reduced from 240/400/2500 to 210/400/2500.
Aurelius Sun
- Health increased from 900 to 1000.
- Mana increased from 40/90 to 0/60.
- Spell damage increased by one and two stars from 350/475/5000 to 400/700/5000.
- Rise time reduced from 20 to 15 seconds.
- Reduced damage bonus increased from 50% to 30%.
Us
- Spell healing reduced at each star level from 275/300/325 to 175/200/225.
- Spell damage increased from 100/150/200 to 150/200/250.
shivana
- Health reduced from 1200 to 1000
- Changed Shyvana’s spell to deal a flat amount of magic damage instead of a percentage of health damage.
- Shyvana is now immune to crowd control when submerged with a bomb.
- Armor and magic reduction increased from 55 to 70.
- New flat spell damage is 1200/1800/30000.

- Mana reduced from 50/100 to 30/100.
- Spell damage reduced by one and two stars from 425/650/9001 to 375/575/9001.
- Daisy’s health increased by two and three stars, from 1600/2600/10000 to 1600/2800/25000.
- Daisy Slam reduced one and two stars from 750/1500/10000 to 500/1000/10000
