Registration for the Paulista University Esports Championship 2022 is now open. The Paulista University Sports Federation Official Tournament, hosted by Fast Shop in partnership with MVP Network, has announced great news for this year. In order to make the competition even fiercer, all dispute terms will be by GameLab TV from the knockout stage. Valorant, Street Fighter V, FIFA, CS:GO, League of Legends Finals will be played in-person directly from the Fast Shop booth at the Brasil Game Show (BGS), the largest gaming event in Latin America.

FROM open for subscription from July 22, any university in the state of São Paulo can participate in the championship, including FATEC and different campuses of the same university. The final date for registration for participation in the tournament is August 20, and soon after that the first online stages of the competition will begin.
Renan Asperti, COO of MVP Network, commented on the importance of the tournament for universities and their students and highlighted the power of the head-to-head finals: “Esports has been following the new generations for several years now. Thus, CPUE is a tournament of great importance in the lives of these young people who study, work and spend their free time playing their favorite game and competing with their peers. This year we have managed to move the last debates to BGS, the largest gaming event in Latin America, which will make the players who reach the finals of the respective competitions even more visible. It will be a great show, in a great grandstand, with a capacity for fans and first class facilities for the players.”
Eduardo Salem, CEO of operations at Fast Shop, says the chain is investing in growing the gamer segment and that the goal is to position itself as a destination for that audience. “Becoming one of the organizers and sponsors of the event is an important step on the path we want to go in terms of interaction with the fans of the gaming universe,” he said.
The Brasil Game Show takes place over seven days this October at the Norte Exhibition Centre. For the finals, Fast Shop, retailer and sponsor of CPUE, prepared a complete booth for hosting games and welcoming fans. Only Free Fire, a modality that is also in CPUE, will not have a face-to-face ending.
