ehmprah is an independent indie game developer based in Berlin with a track record of (nearly) three games released and a penchant for minimalist yet sophisticated design. Coregrounds, a multiplayer tower defense game launched in 2016 and ended in 2018.
After this commercial failure, Empra created a spin-off called Core Defense; This roguelike tower defense game was released quite successfully on Steam in 2020 and on Android and iOS in 2021. Its third game, the tactical ARPG Blacken Slash, will be released in July 2022.
