The Stray Cat Game has become a hit, and not just with real cats. However, while the third-person view is useful for always having your cat in your sights, why isn’t there an optional first-person Stray mode? Well, there’s a new Stray mod that adds just that, and turns the experience into a charming Cyberpunk 2077 meets Mirror’s Edge.
The first-person Stray mod doesn’t have the most original name, but it does exactly what it suggests: it adds a cat-eye perspective camera mode to the game. Created by modder Jessica Natalia, you can get it from NexusMods.
All you have to do is put the mod files in the main Stray directory and the next time you start the game you will have a first person camera. There are even optional separate folders in case you only need the first-person view at certain times, like street racing or platforming. With a huge 40KB size, you won’t limit your download to try it out.
Check out the gameplay video below to see it in action.
You can at least get close to the other cute cats in the game.
