If you’ve been through Raya Lukaria, you’ll need to fight the Elden Ring boss against Rennala, the Queen of the Full Moon. The fight starts in the library over the rest of the school, and a group of students help Rennala in the first stage. However, due to a typo in the event script, one of these students will never be called upon to help reinforce Rennala’s protective magical shield in From RPG.

Dark Souls modder Grimruh (co-author of the massive Dark Souls Nightfall mod) spotted an error while reviewing the event script. The students, known as “candies”, crawl on the ground and throw books at you as you try to get close to Rennale. At any given time, three students will be in a trance, chanting and emitting golden energy, strengthening the barrier that protects their queen.

It’s a random set of students every time Rennala’s shield is turned on, and it’s your job to find and kill the beauties that power the barrier. The Elden Ring code assigns an ID number to each piece of candy in the room, and the event script calls three IDs from the set each time the barrier is charged.

However, the girl with the id number 14000830 will never be called to carry the shield, because there is a typo in the script, an extra 2 is inserted in the id number, because Grimruh Shows in a screenshot posted on Twitter.

It’s not clear from the screenshot if this means that if this number is thrown, only two greedy will be called, or if the game will go on and pick another one when no one answers the wrong ID. Either way, cute 14000830 will never be summoned, he will fall behind Rennala’s class forever, or at least until the player emerges victorious from the second phase of the battle with the demigod. .
