It is a mod developed by PotatoOfDoom on the basis of the Cyberpunk 2077 FSR 2.0 mod, which applies the same solutions to the game CD Projekt RED, but at the same time brings general improvements, especially on video cards of the next generation or non-RTX.

The new mode adds support for AMD FideltyFX Super Resolution 2.0 in Red Dead Redemption 2 before this support was officially added by Rockstar Games.

You can find the mod in question here on NexusMods, and as a detail of the previous change applied to Cyberpunk 2077 it basically carries the same features and the same potential issues, it doesn’t seem particularly alarming at the moment.

AMD FideltyFX Super Resolution 2.0 is a system. upscaling and image reconstruction which uses artificial intelligence to suggest high resolution images without requiring a very intensive process and therefore saving cycles which can be used to improve overall performance with very promising results so far.
