A new mod for The Sims 4 removes the sting of death, or at least some kind of death. Teknikah’s Murphy Bed No Fail Mod does what it says on the tin and prevents the Murphy Bed from killing you on a bad night. O well. Or anytime, really. Unlike some of the other life simulator Murphy Bed mods that reduce the chance of dying while trying to fix a bed, this one completely removes the chance of you failing while trying to fix a bed.
The breakage and death rates may seem exaggerated, but if you’ve ever played with a Murphy bed in real life, then you know how annoying and deadly these abominations can be. The last place you want to be is under the Murphy bed.
The Teknikah mod affects the loveseat and not the Murphy Beds loveseat, but does not change the price or catalog location. They said it might not work with other mods that affect the Murphy bed. However, you don’t need any other Murphy Bed modifications with this one. EA has adjusted the crash rate to make the bed less likely to break, and 24/7 availability will take care of the rest.
So you can get a good night’s sleep while you wait for the release of the High School Years expansion at the end of July.
