Submarino’s booth will be in the spirit of intergalactic travel, with scenography that connects the client-reader to different reading universes. The site will also feature exclusive podcast recordings. On Saturday, the 9th, the podcasts “Bom Dia, Obvious” and “Modus Operandi” will be recorded live on the stage of the brand. One of the new additions to the Submarino booth this year is the #BookTokBrasil hashtag book shelf, with the main books that are on the TikTok platform. The brand is also introducing a themed bookcase to the public from Skoob, a brand that is a literary assistant and a Brazilian social network for readers. Skoob offers tools that organize “read”, “reading”, “want to read” and “want” books on a virtual shelf. The social network has more than 8.9 million people who are available for free online and in the app. The Submarino stand offers, as other activations, some special scenarios for books that are popular with Brazilian readers, such as Harry Potter, in addition to Ame’s special activation.
“We are very happy to participate in the biennale again, this time in Sao Paulo. We have been partners of the event for many years and are an authority on the Brazilian book market. Our goal is to increasingly democratize reading among Brazilians, bringing to everyone relevant content and discussions from this universe,” says Vitor Monte, head of marketing at Submarino. “The theme we have chosen for this year, ‘A Universe of New Hobbies’, reinforces our goal of cultivating a love of reading and offering resources to keep people’s desires more and more alive. Therefore, the furnishings and programming of our spaces have been designed to intensify the visitor experience, turning each book into a new portal that opens up, allowing readers to discover new passions, preferably with Sub,” he adds.
