And, if you want to make sure you’re fighting Diablo Immortal with the best class, there’s a Diablo Immortal tier list for that. For now, let’s move on to how to beat the Hydra.

Where to find Hydra

Fleshcraft Hydra, better known as Hydra, is part of the Diablo Immortal daily zone event known as Hidden Chambers of Kulle. This event is located in the Zoltun Kulle Library area, north of the Shasar Sea.

Knowing the location is one thing, but to access the event you must first take a few steps.

To find the hydra, you must first reach Inferno I. This means that your hero must complete the main campaign and reach level 60. Inferno I refers to the difficulty of Diablo Immortal, from I to IV on the scale. This can be changed by selecting the skull icon on the Westmarch map screen.

After successfully completing the main campaign and reaching level 60, remember to increase the difficulty level to Hell I before quickly heading to the Zoltun Kull library. You can access the library from level 35, but once you get to Hell, I’ll leave you in a better position.

How to summon the hydra

Your main objective in creating the Fleshmaster Hydra is to collect the five missing pages scattered throughout the Zoltun Kull library. They will open portal volumes that will give you access to the hidden chambers of Kulle.

In these hidden chambers, there is a chance that the portals you create will spawn a Flesh Hydra or a Sandstone Golem. You can also open the doors to treasure chests, which contain a lot of loot.

Which of the three you get is randomly generated, meaning your chances are lower if you’re alone on this quest. It is best to complete this mission with multiple players to increase the chances of them calling you.

It will work alone but in the same location, which means that once each person collects the Lost Pages and opens the Hidden Chambers, anyone in that location will see the Hydra if it is successfully summoned. The call will trigger a notification informing all players in the world of Hydra’s arrival and a timer to enter combat.

The Fleshcraft Hydra will spawn in the Hydra Lair, to the left of the Writhing Ingress waypoint.

How to defeat a carnivorous hydra

Having multiple players also helps for the next game: defeating the multi-headed snake. The more players you have in the area, the more damage you can collectively deal. Hydra has over 20 million HP and a variety of moves that she will use against you, the main ones being Acid Spit, Lingering Acid Puddle, and Tail Slash.

Although Hydra’s attacks are slow, they are devastating, so whether you choose to fight the world boss alone or with other players, knowing its mechanics is important. Acid Spit and Lingering Acid Pool are front area attacks you can’t afford to linger on, and the tail slam will knock down anyone in range and deal heavy damage.

Hydra rewards in Diablo Immortal

There are no set rewards for defeating the Hydra and the rewards will depend on your character type and level, but any loot that drops from the beast will be plentiful.

However, there is a guarantee: you will receive a wide range of items, including experience orbs, weapons, and enchanted dust, which are great for upgrading your gear. Also note that if you beat the hydra in co-op, the rewards will be split between the players.
