Square Enix has announced the release date for Dragon Quest Treasures. Here’s what you need to know.
A brand new version of the Dragon Quest franchise was unveiled as part of yesterday’s Nintendo Direct mini: Partner Showcase. Dragon Quest Treasures follows brothers Eric and Mia from Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age as they search for treasures across the world.
Players will encounter a variety of monsters to hire, use their special treasure hunting abilities, and battle rival treasure hunters. Collect treasures to increase the value of the basement, improve the floor of the house and more.

Dragon Quest Treasures is scheduled for release on December 9, 2022. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch.
Dragon Quest Treasures features the same distinctive style found in the Dragon Quest series, courtesy of character designer Akira Toryama, perhaps best known as the creator of Dragon Ball. Players can watch an all-new trailer showcasing gameplay and information as part of the Nintendo Direct mini-show.
