Over two stages of VALORANT Challengers Brazil this year, we honored head-to-head confrontations between the best organizations in the country right from the Riot Games studio in Sao Paulo. Now, in determining the remaining spots for the last and biggest VALORANT Championship of the year (Champions, 2nd semester Global Tournament), Qualifying Tournament “Last Chance 2022”with the participation of eight teams – four from Brazil, four from Latin America – will be held in Gymnasium of Ibirapuera, in the capital of Sao Paulo, with the presence of fans in the stands for the first time in the history of the game in Brazil.
The competition runs from 6 to 14 August, with the semi-final and grand final open to the general public of fans. Tickets will go on sale next Monday, July 4th for a single price of Rs 80 (half price of Rs 40 according to São Paulo city law).
There will be 2,000 tickets available on Saturday and 4,000 tickets on Sunday – a link to sell tickets on the Ticket360 website will be announced soon. Riot encourages everyone to pre-organize on the platform to avoid the hassle of buying on the opening day of sales. All information will be posted on our social media to keep our community up to date on this historic FPS moment.
Unlike last year, this time around the LCQ is worth not just one but two spots in Champions, the grand VALORANT World Championship taking place in Istanbul, Turkey in 2022. That is: the two finalists will play the main global competition of the game. Things to remember: Brazil and Latin America (separately) already have a guaranteed spot in the championship for the respective teams with the most Circuit Points in each region.
More details on the Last Chance Qualifier format as well as participating teams and other important details will be released over the next few weeks.
Recall that this Thursday, June 30, at 16:00 Ninjas in Pajamas and KRÜ Esports will play MD5 directly from Buenos Aires for a place at Masters Copenhagen. The international championship in Denmark starts on July 10, and we already have LOUD as a clear representative of Brazil.
