In celebration of LGBT Pride Month and International LGBTQIAP+ Pride Day, Spotify is promoting another initiative to honor artists and creators in the community: Turn up the volume of your pridea unique digital experience that allows users to learn about how they consume LGBT music and expand their music library exposure on the service by recommending a personalized playlist.
To take the test and check your level of representation, simply follow this link and sync with your Spotify profile. In addition to the percentage of LGBTQIAP+ artists on Spotify that a user has listened to, one can discover the most listened to singer or artist, the bubblegum track, the feat that was on repeat, and the artists that would form a dream band.
At the end, the user also finds recommended songs and albums to increase the consumption of songs by LGBTQIAP+ artists, all with an equalizer that makes it easy to add hymns to an exclusive playlist. The experience is powered by Pride, Spotify’s official hub, featuring music and podcasts from artists and creators in the LGBTQIAP+ community.
Turn up the volume of your pride brings together YouTube’s #BaileDoShorts campaign as well as Spotify’s initiatives to promote LGBTQIAP+ artists and content creators in the audio universe. During Pride Month, the platform also runs a campaign until June 30th. From stop to stop with Out of Home (OOH) media series featuring community artists and podcasters from all regions of Brazil featured on the São Paulo LGBT Pride Parade Network to promote discovery and reach more creators in the community, helping them become Spotify stars.
