Underwater Jugs at MLB The Show 22

The underwater bed is no longer what you see every day. The most commonly used throwing method is shooters not pulling hard enough from above. Hitting the ball from the bottom corner adds more movement to the pitch. Also, getting arm angle is very difficult, especially in MLB The Show.

Currently, there are only seven underwater jugs in the game for use in the animated game. These pitchers are:

Steve Chisek, Washington Nationals
Adam Kolerek, Auckland Athletics
Ryan Thompson, flight from Tampa Bay
Justin Lawrence, Colorado Rock
Joe Smith, twins from Minnesota
Darren O’Day, Atlanta Braves
Tim Hill, San Diego Padres

If you’re paving the way for a showrunner in MLB The Show 22, picking one of these seven will work well.

And then there are underwater shooters, it would be unfair if shooting animations were presented to players. Those players are San Francisco Giant’s Tyler Rogers and Milwaukee Brewery’s Eric Yardley. When Rogers throws the ball, his fingers almost touch the ground.

Although their animations are not available for creative players, they can be used in Yardley and Rogers Diamond Dynasty. And I can say from personal experience that hitting them is incredibly difficult.
