According to Nintendo, it has been confirmed that Mario Strikers: Battle League will have “free post-launch updates” and that these updates will include new characters.
It’s still unclear when Nintendo plans to release these versions or which characters will be included in the updates, but we do know that they will be free to download. Bowser and Donkey Kong are featured in Battle League, but it’s unknown if Big Kong and Bowser Jr. will make an appearance. In the future game. The same goes for characters like Birdo or any co-op.
