The organizers of the exhibition bearing the name Game world – Art in Czech video games, they want to prove that video games are a diverse but forgotten art form. The exhibition will present plays by three leading Czech studios and give an opportunity to get acquainted with the process of their creation. The action will last from July 7 to August 26 The opening will take place on July 12 at 18:00. Game world will take Caesar Gallery in Olomouc.

“Although video games are not given the same attention as films and music, they are becoming an integral part of the lives of more than two billion people around the world,” the organizers explain, emphasizing the global scope of the gaming industry. in fact, the highest forms of art, as they unite many areas of human creativity, including art.

At the exhibition we will meet the projects of three Czech studios with a worldwide reputation. Amanita Design will bring Radim Yurda and Jan Chlup’s work on Creaks – initial sketches and designs, hand-drawn backgrounds, in-game art drawings, and examples from the game’s final form.

Bohemia Interactive can boast of the current title. In addition to the graphics examples from the game Arma Reforger, the developers prepared visual concepts by Josef Suri or promotional photos for visitors with the support of Stanislav Petera. The third participant is the Prague team. War Horse Studioswhich currently has Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It will also show concepts, designs and screenshots created by Mikulas Podprocki’s team.
