RRQ Akira became the LATAM LIGA Champion and took home a portion of the $50,000 prize pool. Thanks to their well-coordinated play and dominance in team fights, the team defeated Malvinas Gaming, the organization that eliminated the Brazilians from DreamMax during the playoffs, with a score of 4-1.
Held from June 13 to 19 at an in-person event at the Lima Convention Center, Peru, the second edition of LATAM LIGA brought together the top eight Mobile Legends: Bang Bang organizations from Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Mexico and Peru to battle it out for the title. According to Esports Charts, more than 350 spectators took part in the tournament, who personally cheered for their favorite teams, and a new record for simultaneous viewing was set – more than 30,000 spectators.
LATAM LEAGUE 2022 was sponsored by its smartphone partner Infinix, Smile.One as the official esports partner and streamed live on TikTok, the official short video partner app. For the first time this season, UTP acted as an Official Education Partner along with Honga, Claro Gaming and Cirfut as Official Esports Partners.

LATAM LEAGUE was held in parallel with the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup in Kuala Lumpur, where the dates of the M4 World Championship were announced.
