Wondering what is the place of DPS in Shadowlands 9.2 for Mythic + and Raiding? Here’s what you need to know.

The new Mythic+ season, which kicked off on March 1, 2022 and opened on the same day as First Grave, DPS points are crucial to understanding team composition and strategy. Note that Blizzard has stabilized DPS in the closest Shadowlands so far. Therefore, the distinction between the upper classes and the lower classes is not as extreme as in the past.

For raids, many of the classes on the list not only damage the raid, but also provide scaling benefits. Note: Damage to a target is a top priority when attacking the first area of the graveyard.

Legendary DPS + Tier S

Rogue is also very powerful at this level, especially Subtlety Rogues is amazing for both raid and Mythic+. Additionally, Subtlety Rogue is arguably the best DPS feature for Mythic+ right now. Rogue is also back at this level with all the useful options like Shroud of Concealment for the Mythic+ jump and Crowd Control that made Rogues famous.

Mythic DPS + Level A

The shaman is very interesting in this layer. Enhancement is a clear choice for Raid and Elemental is perfect for Mythic+. Additionally, shamans are always welcome in parties due to their ability to be bloodthirsty. The features that shine the most are Melee Vs. About Ranged Perks.

Legendary DPS + Tier B

Libra Druid is strong at this level, but Ferrari is still on the weak side. While all of these classes have perfect specializations for Mythic+, other specializations reduce the classes.

Legendary DPS + Tier C

Paladin is looking for one of the weaker DPS classes at this level. Although their usefulness is powerful and they have a lot of range, they are not practical enough.

Tier S Dominant DPS

Fury Warrior is alone at the top of the DPS. Fury Warrior deals incredible single target damage, plus the ability to cast Necrolord Covenant and Rallying Cry. For those running the main Arms Warrior, Arms Fury is nowhere to be found for the raid, while it’s incredibly powerful for Mythic+.

DPS Raid One Tier

Then, as is customary, mages are at the start of the game and every attribute is valid at that level. However, it is the Fire Sorcerer that steals the raid’s best stats. Frost is still a great choice, Arcane is the weakest in both game modes.

The final high-level classes and specializations for this patch are Shadow Priests and Demon Hunters. While each feature is powerful, these are the only options for DPS, so beware of nerfs if you’re not going to play other roles.

Tier B Dominant DPS

Warlock is back at this level for Raiding and Mythic+, but not all features are the same. Demonology is by far the best spec for both aspects, Affliction and Destruction are the worst DPS specs.

Hunters are in a similar boat, survival is unthinkable in Mythic+ but unfortunately the class as a whole struggles to raid.

Tier C Dominant DPS

Rearing rears are some classes that struggle with this tier as a whole. Monks, Death Knights, and Knights are on the weak end of the raiding spectrum. It is true that players can play successfully in these classes, they lag behind the strongest classes.

Finally, as mentioned earlier, Patch 9.2 sees classes and DPS specializations fairly balanced so far. Because of this, your favorite class play will continue to take place in Raid Team and Mythic+ groups.
