Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 is officially titled Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and the RPG will release in Winter 2023 on PlayStation 5, as series producer Yoshinori Kitase announced during the Final Fantasy 7 25th Anniversary livestream. There’s no release date yet for Part 2. PC, but considering Part 1 is on the Epic Games Store and now on Steam, we’d be surprised if a PC version doesn’t follow in 2024. Kitase also highlighted what’s left for the reinvented series and said there is another game. in the FF7 Remake project, although naturally he did not reveal its title or the expected release date. Instead, we’ve seen a first look at FF7 Rebirth, which seems to confirm theories that the games take place in multiple timelines.
In the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth trailer, we see Cloud and Zack Rayne wandering the desert landscape outside of Midgar. Plays a conversation between Cloud and someone like Jesse, a former Avalanche member who dies at the end of Part 1 and dies forever in the original game. The thing is, Jesse doesn’t seem to remember anything from his previous life and certainly doesn’t remember his death.

Even more intriguing, much of the trailer follows Cloud walking through the desert with Sephiroth by his side, discussing what he believes to be Sephiroth’s endgame.
At this point we can only speculate as to what actually happens, though given that the trailer begins with the comment that the future isn’t set in stone, it seems pretty clear that the rest of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy won ‘Don’t be the that everyone else is. hoping for.
