Wondering how to play the Overwatch 2 beta? Phase 2 of the PvP beta is almost here, giving select players access to a new map, hero, and the first Overwatch 2 FPS experience on consoles. Junker Queen is the latest Overwatch 2 hero revealed so far. Little is known about the abilities of the Junkertown Queen, but we do know that she is the current ruler and protector of the infamous Junkertown Junkyard.
Being selected to participate in the first Overwatch 2 PvP beta doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll have access to the latest event. We strongly recommend that you register by June 16 to increase your chances of participating. Before signing up, it’s worth checking out the Overwatch 2 Beta system requirements to make sure you can play the beta on your PC. You’ll also need a Battle.net account in good standing to be eligible for the beta.
Supervision 2 Event
More details on how to play the Overwatch 2 beta will be revealed during the Overwatch 2 live event on June 16 at 10:00 am PT / 1:00 pm EST / 6:00 pm GMT. The broadcast is likely to show the full cinematic video of Junker Queen, along with new versions of some of the classic heroes.
Overwatch 2 beta release date
We know that the second phase of the Overwatch 2 beta begins on June 28. The first beta testing period ran from April 26 to May 17, suggesting that the second phase could run until July 19.
Overwatch 2 Crossplay
It’s not yet clear if the Overwatch 2 beta will feature cross-platform play between consoles and PC. Overwatch 1 currently supports cross-platform play on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch consoles.
With any luck, you should have access to the Overwatch 2 PvP Beta 2. Overwatch 2 is still a few months away from release, but the beta should keep players active until the full game is released. Be sure to read our Overwatch 2 tier list to find out which heroes you should pick during the beta.
