Does Quarry have co-op?

With its latest release, many players are wondering if The Quarry has co-op. Unlike many other story-based games, The Quarry actually has a co-op mode.

At the start of the game, players have the option of assigning different characters to different players. The game supports up to eight players for local co-op as the story revolves around the eight main characters. But you can play from 1 to 8 players until all characters are assigned to the player.

Along with the co-op mode enabled, Supermassive Games also announced plans for an online multiplayer mode. As in the cooperative mode, all players control the progress of the story. However, unlike co-op mode, players are not assigned individual characters. Instead, only the host controls the game, while the other players collectively vote on important decisions.

Quarry’s co-op mode reminds you of the previous Supermassive Games game: The Dark Pictures Anthology. Much like in The Quarry, players could control individual characters as they progressed through the story.
