The Capcom Showcase was filled with Resident Evil news, including new DLC for Resident Evil Village.
Resident Evil fans had plenty to admire, thanks to Capcom’s special exhibit. Among the announcements was a new Gold Edition for Resident Evil Village with new features and brand new DLC. This new DLC, called Shadows of Rose, comes 16 years after the events of Resident Evil Village and follows Ethan Winters’ daughter, Rose, as she experiences the consequences of her abilities.
According to Capcom’s website, Rose enters the consciousness of a megameter – a cast creature – but attempts to distinguish between fantasy and reality.
Shadows of Rose and the Winters expansion will be available for purchase separately or as part of Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition.
Resident Evil Village Gold Edition includes both the base game and the Winters expansion. The extension includes:
Winters’ Expansion and Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition will be released on October 28, 2022. PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox X | S will be available on Xbox One and PC.
