Konami announced that it has reached a multi-year cooperation agreement betweenAC Monzaa team that has recently advanced to Serie A for the first time in its history, ed eFootball. The Japanese broadcaster will become the “Official Football Video Game Partner” from the 2022/23 football season. Of course, the team will be featured in all future updates of the eFootball series.
The partnership will include multiple marketing activities, legendary football players and esports rights. KONAMI has done a full 3D scan of the AC Monza team to kick off the partnership and the Club will be part of the new KONAMI eSports competition, which will launch in Italy next season.
The historic football club AC Monza, founded in 1912, was founded in 2018. Finvest SpA – Silvio Berlusconi’s holding company – an extraordinary event for the city. The arrival of Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani sparked enthusiasm over the incredible results the Milan head duo have achieved in the past.
The announcement of this partnership for eFootball by KONAMI is just the latest in a series of key deals with Italian clubs such as AS Roma, SS Lazio, SSC Napoli, Atalanta BC and more recently AC Milan.
