Xbox Bethesda Showcase is coming, a collection of announcements about games coming to Xbox, PC, and Game Pass in the coming months. The demo is part of Summer Game Fest 2022, but essentially what we’d get if E3 still existed, and could get it again in 2023 if the Entertainment Software Association has its way, though what Microsoft and its studios have come up with remains. a kind of mystery.
Previously, Bethesda planned to show footage of Starfield for the first time. However, with the space RPG delayed to 2023, it’s unclear if Bethesda will follow through on its original intent, which is why some fans are creating their own Starfield trailers to ease the pain of waiting.
The Xbox itself has a number of projects in the works, from Rare’s troubled Everwild to Obsidian and Forza’s Adowed franchise. Xbox has also featured third-party games like Tales of Arise and Scarlet Nexus in previous years, so we may see surprises from other developers as well.
Aside from the upcoming DLC for Forza Horizon 5, very little has (reliably) leaked from the Xbox store, so most of the list remains just speculation at this point.
Xbox Bethesda Showcase Start Time
Xbox Overview Bethesda begins June 12 at 10:00 a.m. PST / 1:00 p.m. EST / 6:00 p.m. PT., though Xbox hasn’t mentioned how long the show might run. The 2021 showcase was about 90 minutes long, so it’s probably possible to rebook that long.
If you’re worried about forgetting something, the Summer Game Fest website has a calendar where you can add the Xbox show and any other events to a custom calendar with reminders.
Xbox will stream the presentation on its YouTube and Twitch channels with TwitterTikTok and Xbox channel in American Sign Language Twitch.
