EA Confirms Madden NFL 23 Won’t Come to Game Pass

Despite previous advertisements, EA has confirmed that the upcoming soccer game Madden 23 will not be releasing on Xbox Game Pass.

The news comes via GameSpot, which received confirmation from an EA spokesperson that the previous Game Pass ad for the game was in fact a bug. Previously, a banner appeared on the Xbox website announcing that the game was included with the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.

Game Pass users can pre-order the game with EA Play at a discount, bypassing the subscription service. The current versions and their discounts are as follows:

Madden NFL 23: Standard Edition Xbox One

Madden NFL 23: Xbox Series X Standard Edition | S

Madden NFL 23 All Madden Edition Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S+ Limited Time Bonus

All Madden Edition pre-orders made before July 22 will be accepted for All Madden Team Elite Player and pre-order content:

Madded NFL 23 will launch August 19 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | It will be released on S and PC.
