There are three ways to play cooperative multiplayer in Diablo Immortal.
The first is to create an affinity party. This is the easiest option as all players have to do is walk up to another player, say stand at the entrance to one of the game’s hips, and invite them or ask him to join if he’s set up a party.
For groups with small groups, players can create Warbands. Warbands can accommodate up to eight players, and playing them gives you more rewards than regular co-op. This makes them ideal for achieving a common goal like cleaning up a specific butt.
In Warband, only the group founder can recruit other players. However, members can still say how they want things to work in the group via the messaging feature.
To unlock the ability to join the Warbands, players will first need to travel to the Westmarch region. There they will be able to talk to the NPC to gain access to the Warband camp, where players can invite and coordinate.
Finally, players can join fully-fledged clans. Clans can accommodate up to 100 players at the same time. Like other MMORPGs, members of the Diablo Immortal clan can work together to raise global group status and unlock clan achievements.
Players can request to join the guild by clicking on the drop-down menu and guilds in the upper left corner of the screen. Players can also create their own clans and invite others, but 100,000 gold is worth getting started.
Finally, in addition to the Co-op campaign, players can team up with their friends in PvP matches against other players.
Diablo Immortal will be released in open beta for iOS, Android, and Windows PC (via Battle.net) on June 2, 2022.
