SnowRunner trucks work hard, which of course means they love to play too. SnowRunner Season 7 heads to Tennessee, ditching the usual task-based hauling jobs in favor of some good old-fashioned off-road racing.
SnowRunner Season 7, Compete and Conquer, is available to anyone with a SnowRunner Year 2 pass and adds a new four square kilometer map set in the wooded area of Burning Mill, Tennessee. It’s built for the cross-country equivalent of the Forza Horizon festival, with tracks carved into the forest and hot air balloons dangling lazily in the air.
Season 7 also added two new vehicles to the SnowRunner fleet. There’s the Spinter 43-19, a Dakar-style truck designed to compete even in harsh road and weather conditions. The second new vehicle is the speedy Gor BY-4, a light reconnaissance vehicle that should be up to the task of mapping the Burning Mill desert. All SnowRunner owners, whether they have a Year 2 Pass or not, too they will receive 10 new exterior decals for their existing truck fleet.
Here is the trailer:
The new high-speed vehicles will come in handy in Burning Mill, as all the challenges this season are geared towards speed. The map has a rally track and an off-road race track, so you can ditch the extra gear and focus on revving your car to top speed.
Solo players will be able to perform challenging time trials in which they must pass a series of checkpoints in a limited time. Cooperative players will be able to compete in head-to-head races on the harsh terrain of Tennessee.
