Last Sunday (23) Ubisoft announced Operation Vector Glare in Rainbow Six Siege (R6). Among the highlights of the update is the introduction of the new operator Sens. The new character has his main ability to destroy the vision of opponents.

Sens, new operator

Attack Operator Sens brings with him a new gadget capable of dealing great damage to opponents: the ROU Projector When thrown, the wheel-shaped utility emits a wall of light to obscure opponents’ vision.

Sens will have a new POF-9 weapon in his arsenal in addition to the 417 rifle. In terms of secondary equipment, the operator will have SDP 9MM and GONNE-6. As for additional gadgets, players will need to choose between Heavy Demolition Charge and Claymore.

reputation system

To make Rainbow Six a healthier place for players, Ubisoft has announced a reputation system. There will now be reverse friendly shooting in the title for those who like to aim fire at teammates.

The function will issue two warnings before the punishment is activated for the violator. However, if a player participates in more than one match without violating the rules of good conduct, the penalty will expire.

The developer has also implemented new privacy systems that allow players to use a secondary nickname and even hide other people’s names.

New map for Deathmatch

Widely used by players to warm up, the Deathmatch mode will receive a new map from the next operation. The scenario called “Short Distance” promises to create a crazy gaming environment with multiple exchanges. The map looks perfect for learning hand-to-hand combat.

The Short Distance, according to Ubisoft, was developed without using any other map present in Siege for inspiration, meaning it was made entirely from scratch. Such an environment has been designed to offer a personalized experience that is perfect for a deathmatch mode.

Squadron reactivation program

To encourage players to return to Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft has introduced a squad reactivation program. With it, players will be rewarded by inviting friends to return to the FPS.

Thanks to the new system, it will be possible to invite up to four players who have not played a title in Year 7. If a group participates in five matches together, they receive a premium reward. In addition, each return will make the person responsible for the invitation win individual gifts.
