The developers of Tiny Tina’s Wonderland appear to have nine triple-A titles currently in the works.
Parent transmission company Embracer Group released its fourth quarter and year-end financial report on May 19. In it, the company explained that Gearbox currently has “nine AAA games in development.” Naturally, the report didn’t specify what those games will be or whether they were developed by Gearbox or just released.
Still, nine AAA titles is a solid amount.
Gearbox software is probably best known for the Borderlands series, with this latest release a spin-off inspired by Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands desktop. The studio also developed the PlayStation 2 Half-Life port and published games like We Happy Few and Tribes of Midgard under its publisher Gearbox Publishing.

The Embracer Group report detailed how management of Tiny Tina’s Wonderland exceeded initial sales expectations, and Gearbox “will be releasing content on a regular basis following its summer 2022 release.”
In addition to transmission, Embracer Group also owns Koch Media, Saber Interactive, THQ Nordic and others.
