Free toy MOBA Smite gets a chaotic transition with Slipknot that brings music and special skins to the fighting game.
What might be one of the craziest passes to honor a free game, Slipknot will make its way to Smite. Nine members of the metal band will be featured as specially created skins.
The pass is expected to be released with the game’s next update, but there’s no confirmed release date as of this writing. However, the Smite 9.5 update livestream will air on Twitch on May 11 at 3 p.m. ET. It will include more details on the future crossword game and how to combine the two.
Besides the skins, the puzzle also includes music from the band’s extensive catalog, including “Duality”, “Psychosocial”, and “The Devil In I”.
Slipknot is probably best known for its style, with nine members each wearing specially designed masks. Hailing from Des Moines, Iowa, the band has enjoyed monumental success over their nearly 27-year career. The group’s presence in Smith will be divided into three different types of deities:
Poseidon
chaaki
Rajijin
The upcoming Slipknot crossover will be Smite’s biggest theme music yet and a major milestone for the acclaimed MOBA.
