Razer, the world’s leading lifestyle brand for gamers, has just announced a collaboration in Brazil with TECHERS, a renowned technology school specializing in computer science and robotics education. The initiative includes 12 TECHERS Scholarships for young students from the Uberlândia/MG municipal network enrolled in mainstream schools, as well as a donation of 24 Razer high-performance peripherals for classroom use.
“We support the TECHERS project because we believe that education and technology will transform the lives of young people. Modern equipment will give students an extra incentive to continue dedicating themselves to personal learning and prepare for the job market. In addition, this will allow TECHERS to further increase the support it has already offered to these young people,” said Vitor Martins, Razer Sales Manager Brazil.

In the market since 2020, TECHERS uses a unique Collaboration, Search, Develop and Experiment (CODE) oriented methodology to teach robotics and computer science, and has already offered 12 annual scholarships to low-income students. In collaboration with Razer, the goal is to expand the project. “Despite the massive digital transformation we are experiencing during the pandemic, we understand that this does not provide equal access to technology.
We want more people to be involved in the digital world, because only then will we have a fairer, more connected and capable country for the new skills demanded by the labor market.”said Danielle Akemi, co-founder of the school.
For Razer and TECHERS, the collaboration means opening up new horizons for young people affected by the project and a way to prepare them both personally and professionally. The new TECHERS social class will be named after Razer and will begin in the second half of May with twelve students.
