Anyone can play Call of Duty on the go, but only the best in the world can top the leaderboard or win the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship, which includes second qualifying round in May.
Now more than ever, those with a competitive spirit are being encouraged to experience the excitement of Call of Duty on the go, especially with the new Tournament Game Mode coming with Season 4: Wild Dogs.
Below, players will learn how they can earn exclusive rewards and earn the right to show off at the top of the leaderboard in this new mode:
How to Play (and Win) Tournament Mode

While ranked play is for larger squads and determines qualification for the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship (Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2022) Tournament mode is for duos or solo players who want to prove their individual skills. It’s also a great place to practice in a competitive environment before moving up the rankings and possibly earning a place in the third round of the World Championship with your team.
Tournament mode can be accessed in the main multiplayer room. It has its own hub which has a selection of modes, viewing rewards known as milestones and leaderboards, and viewing your wins and losses during a tournament round.
Each round consists of four matches. These matches can be played in the following modes:
- shooter
- Team Death Shooter
- Team Deathmatch 2v2
- 2v2 Confirmed download
- Against everyone
Win matches to earn crowns, the exclusive tournament currency for rewards. Win three matches for a chance to win Double Crowns, a dynamic calling card, and a special tournament box when you win your fourth match.
Players can spend a small amount of CoD Points on additional matches in the round – this can help the player earn double crowns, a crate and a calling card for a fourth victory.
However, a player’s position on the leaderboard is solely based on the number of wins, and rewards are given to those who consistently win rounds regardless of additional in-game purchases. You can play as many rounds of the tournament as you want to earn weekly rewards and a good place on the leaderboard!
Earn crowns, climb the leaderboard to get rewards
Tournament Mode operates on a weekly rewards cycle, and crowns are the best when it comes to earning milestone rewards, weapon arsenals, soldier skill skins, chest vouchers, and more.
Each week, your Crowns will count towards a parallel row of Basic Milestone and Premium Milestone rewards, similar to how the Call of Duty: Mobile Battle Pass system works. All players will receive rewards along the path of the main milestone and will be able to purchase access to the premium milestone reward sequence for CoD points.
That is, those who continue to play in the tournament mode and win matches during the game week will receive more crowns and, therefore, more rewards.
During the first two weeks of tournament play, participants can earn impressive DL Q33 – Red Fairy (Epic) as well as Mega Chest vouchers. While Milestone rewards are earned through cumulative Crowns, Tournament Leaderboard rewards are purely based on placement and number of wins compared to everyone else in the tournaments.
They exist rewards for the top 20%, 15%, 10% and 5% and the top 1000 on the leaderboards Call of Duty: Mobile Tournament Mode players, including COD points! Therefore, each player should always give all the best to the maximum.
Top 5 Player Tips
one. Know your strengths. Whether you’re a vampire fanatic or stand out with your entire shooter arsenal, play these modes for the best chance of winning a series of matches. As for the modes in which you are not so strong, feel free to practice in them in standard public matches.
two. Small Team Tactics. Starter mode offerings for tournaments are mostly doubles and singles matches. It’s better to win more one-on-one matches than to wait for a teammate to save you.
3. Practice in public. Before entering a tournament, consider playing a few public matches to warm up. Especially in modes such as Team Deathmatch and Against Everyone, a less competitive environment can make it easier to explore looks and positions of power.
4. victories matter. Forget about improving any other stat other than the number of wins. If you’re not playing against everyone, those who play to win with great teamwork rather than high B/M will end up at the top of the tournament leaderboard.
5. keep playing. The best Call of Duty: Mobile teams, like the 2021 Finals champion Blacklist International Ultimate, didn’t become the best in the game overnight. Learn from defeats, play matches more often, and enter Tournament Mode with a winning mindset!
