Aiming down your sights is one of the key components in Valorant‘s gameplay. In Patch 5.04, Riot Games has finally updated their FPS’ crosshairs. In doing so, players with Valorant accounts can expect to pull off headshots and flicks more frequently.
Bugs
Riot has always been known to fix even the most minor details within their game—even the Valorant Shop. For the latest Patch 5.04, Riot fixed a bug where Yoru’s Gatecrash occasionally left floor markers in incorrect locations.
Crosshair Updates
Since the last Patch 4.05 introduced the option to import and export your crosshairs with auto-generated codes, players can now input a Hex Code (6-digit RGB) for their desired color providing a wide range of colors for you to use. If a non-Hex code is not entered, the crosshair will revert to the last color used. You can use this feature by going to Settings > Crosshair > Primary or Aim Down Sights.
Multiple options exist to explore and mess around with when creating your crosshair. You can also tune your horizontal and vertical crosshair lines. Independent tuning can be enabled when disabling the middle “chain” button. The left slider within the settings for the independent turning can be used for horizontal lines, while the right slider is for vertical lines.
A total game changer when you can copy another teammate’s crosshair while in-game, as players would bump into something they like, and it is tiring of asking for their Discord profile to have their crosshair settings. You only need to spectate your teammates’ crosshair by typing the code in chat “/crosshair copy” or “/cc” to import the crosshair code and have it in your Valorant account. The maximum crosshair profiles are available from 10 to 15.

Why Are Crosshairs Important?
Although your aim is something you need to keep practicing and improving, a good crosshair that you are comfortable with to have keen precision in getting those headshots comes a long way when shooting. This will improve the accuracy of your flicks. Matched with a comfortable mouse sensitivity and DPI mouse settings, getting your crosshair at a head level will allow you to control the recoil of your guns.
Most players would usually go for a smaller crosshair, leaving plenty of room for you to see your enemies from your sides. You can check the list above and notice that many of these pro-players are using these small crosshairs, but you can also see random players with Valorant skins in your queue now and then using creative crosshairs. The most recent viral crosshair since the update is the Nerd Glasses crosshair, made by Jioon, where players have a pair of glasses instead of the usual sights. Some have donned the crosshair with an aimbot-like feel as you make fun of your enemy by lining it up for a headshot, giving them the appearance of wearing big rectangular glasses.
