2. Note if the Pokemon above is harder to catch than usual. Due to Dito’s rarity, it may be harder to catch him even in disguise.
3. Some trainers have offered to work in pairs or groups to find Ditto, as the spawn in the regions is the same. If someone encounters Dito representing NATO a few feet away, anyone who catches that NATO from this side will introduce themselves as Dito.

Instructors should keep in mind that Ditto will only reveal itself after pressing, and Shiny Disguise does not necessarily translate to Shiny Ditto. Shiny Ditto can also disguise itself as a traditional colored Pokémon.
