Trainers want to know how to catch transformed Pokemon in Pokemon GO.
Despite Niantic Labs behind the scenes of the April Fool’s Day event, some Pokemon GO trainers are trying to complete the final chapter of their research on a particular topic. Last Friday, April 1, first April 2 2-Oh? Event -22 got Ditto for its incredible ability to transform into any other Pokemon it sees.
Throughout the event, Ditto pulled off a lot of disguises, so the coaches were reading what he really caught in the last meeting. This caused confusion regarding the specific research task of “transforming” Pokemon.

As mentioned in our previous article, “Transform Pokemon” is a nice title given to Dito. Therefore, trainers must grasp three identical things.
This may be easier said than done than done after the fact. It might not be that crowded after the first April 2-Oh?-22, but that doesn’t mean the coaches were unlucky. This Pokémon can spawn all year round, but its appearance is particularly rare. Also, trainers won’t know they’ve caught Dito until they catch him.

We understand that catching Dito is much easier said than done. Here are some tips for Trainers trying to catch this Pokémon and complete their research:
- Prioritize the Pokemon listed above, as they all have a chance of revealing themselves as Ditto in disguise.
- Note if the Pokemon above is harder to catch than usual. Due to Dito’s rarity, it may be harder to catch him even in disguise.
- Some trainers have offered to work in pairs or groups to find Ditto, as the spawn in the regions is the same. If someone encounters Dito representing NATO a few feet away, anyone who catches that NATO from this side will introduce themselves as Dito.
Instructors should keep in mind that Ditto will only reveal itself after pressing, and Shiny Disguise does not necessarily translate to Shiny Ditto. Shiny Ditto can also disguise itself as a traditional colored Pokémon.
