Pokémon GO’s All-Hands Rocket Retreat event kicks off on Sunday and brings a collection of Team Rocket-related Pokémon for players to add to their own collections – some of which have never appeared in Pokémon GO before. Everything you need to know about the event is here.

During the event, two Pokémon appear for the first time in Pokémon GO: Salandit and its enhanced form Salazzle. From this event, Salandite can hatch from 12 km eggs and players can use 50 Salandite Candy to turn it into Salazzle.
Players can challenge Giovanni, the leader of Team Rocket, who comes with Shadow Latia. Completing the Special Research story offered in this event unlocks the Super Rocket Radar that players can use to find and battle Giovanni.

Niantic says some Pokemon look shiny, but didn’t specify which ones.
During the event, Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently in PokéStops and Bubbles. Players will be able to use ChargedTM to help Shadow Pokemon forget about Charged Attack Frustration.

Finally, players will potentially be able to run perfectly into the Sneasel for competitive field research missions. If they’re lucky, they’ll meet Scraggy.
