Pokemon GO April Community Day: Everything you need to know

April Day is approaching in Pokemon GO. Here’s what you need to know.

April Fool’s Day is celebrated on April 23 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Community Days in Pokemon GO are an opportunity for trainers to obtain unique Pokemon and items. Community Days in 2020 were six hours long, but are reverting to a three-hour format to increase community engagement.

Here’s what else is happening on April 1st.

Stufful makes his Pokemon GO debut during this event with a chance to encounter the brilliant Stufful. If you transform Stufful into Bewear during the event or two hours later, you will receive a Charged Attack Drain Punch move to use in battle.

Here are the bonuses from the Community Day event:

Be sure to activate these items and participate in these bonuses throughout the event to achieve the desired effect. There will also be a special Community Day story survey and event packs that will cost money to obtain. There will always be a free Event Pack in the store which includes 30 Ultra Balls.

There are also group play bonuses; Team up with others to unlock bonuses like using a lure to catch some Pokemon with others. This will reward you with an XP boost, as Pokemon caught with the lured PokeStop will move three to four times in 30 minutes.

Stickers can also be obtained through gifts and purchases from PokeStops.
