Niantic Labs has announced a new event in Pokemon GO: Lush Jungle. From the new release to Spotlights, Research and more, we’ve put together a comprehensive guide on what Trainers can expect during the event period.
Pokemon GO Lush Jungle will be open from 10:00 a.m. on March 22 to 8:00 p.m. local time on March 29.

Three new species debuted during the Pokemon Lush Jungle event:
Shiny Cottonee will also be making his Park Spotlight debut during Lush Jungle.
Lush Jungle Park Spotlight will take place on March 26 at 10:00 a.m. and will continue until March 27 at 8:00 p.m. local time. As its name suggests, Spotlight features Cottonee, which appears more often in parks during its duration.
The launch of Shiny Cottonee is currently underway.
Cottonee, the “Cotton Puff” Pokemon, originally debuted as part of Generation V in the Unova region. It will grow in Whimsicott if exposed to Sunstone.

The three-star raids will be the following Pokémon:
Tapu Lele appears as the boss of a five-star edition.
In Mega Raids, Charizard Y will have a chance to shine.
A new set of timely research missions will be available during the Lush Jungle event. Completing these quests will reward encounters with the following Pokémon:
With the start of the event, the next island-specific research line will be launched, which includes Akala Island.
