Pokemon GO Raid Times April 2022: Full List and Details

We’ve compiled a full list of raid times for Pokemon GO in August 2022, along with a brief description of all relevant counters.

Raid Hours is similar to Spotlight Hours, a weekly event that features individual Pokemon that control ferocity around trainers. Raid times follow the same format: once a week, same day, same time, with a Pokémon. However, instead of increasing the Pokémon’s spawn rate for an hour, this featured Pokémon becomes the main raid boss until the event ends.

Raid hours are generally 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time on Wednesdays.

There are five Raid Watches in August 2022, each filled with unique surprises. In the middle of the month, two new Drive Genesects from Zacian and Zamazenta will appear as minions:

Sinoh Space God Palkia is a water and dragon type with only two weak points: fairy types and other dragon types. It is particularly resistant to damage from fire and water-type moves, so trainers should avoid them. Palkia’s best counters are Sylveon, Kyurem, Rayquaza, Salamance, and Dragonite.

Discs can affect Genesect’s signature move, but not its personal type. It will remain Bug and Steel type, which is quite weak against Fire type damage. Therefore, the best counters include: Reshiram, Volcarona, Blaziken, Chandelure, and Moltres.

Depending on the type of ride, trainers may want to gravitate towards fire types, which is fine as long as they avoid their main counters: Poison and Grass.

Zacian’s hero form is a fairy type with a weakness to poison and steel type damage. Some of its top counters include Metagross, Dialga, Roserade, and Genesect.

His hero form, Zamazenta, is a fighting type with weaknesses against faeries, flying, and psychic damage. Its best counters are Mewtwo, Deoxys, Espeon, Alakazam, and Staraptor.
