How to Evolve Mantle into Mantle in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Mantyke’s method of evolution is odd – even by Pokemon standards. So far, only one Pokémon has a method that requires trainers to think about team compositions in battle and leveling up in advance. This makes Mantyke one of the most attractive Pokémon and also one of the rarest species in terms of evolution.

Logically, instructors might be a bit confused as to how this all works. Never fear – that’s where we come in. Here’s how to turn a cloak into a cloak in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Mantyke transforms into Mantine when upgraded to Remoraid in a party. These two don’t have to be side by side or anything like that. As long as they are in a batch, the coat should scale the same.

Mantyke and Remoraid can often be seen swimming in the same places where PokeDex descriptions are difficult to correlate. But in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, you’ll only encounter these two in Tranquility Cove. Otherwise, Mantyke Cobalt Beach can be found at Ginkgo Landing Beach, while Remoriad spawns near Castaway Beach and Sand’s Reach.

Also known as the “Kite” Pokémon, Mantyke is a very fast swimmer despite its rounded appearance and lack of aerodynamic design. He often attends Remoreid schools, helping them both to hunt and to protect themselves from predators. Hisuian PokeDex number #164.

The mantle is as passive as they make it out to be, allowing the Remoraid to swim down and attach to the bottom of its huge, wide fins to pick up leftover food.
