Trainers can turn Porgon into Porygon2 by detecting upgrades. These items and Pokémon types are classified as futuristic and therefore can only be obtained through space-time warping. This, of course, makes it one of the most confusing genres to appear on Hisui.

Porigon is also known as a “virtual” Pokemon for obvious reasons.
