XSET R6 coach suspended for 12 months for ‘major misconduct’ at Charlotte Major

XSET Rainbow Six Siege Head Coach Matthew Budgega Figueredo has been suspended for 12 months after 12 months of contention during a match at the Six Charlotte Major in 2022. Ma Friday.

XSET was fined $5,000 for the competition, in addition to a one-year ban from the head coach.

According to a rival statement from Ubisoft, Budge repeatedly violated the Rainbow Six Circuit Global Rulebook during matches between XSET and Team Liquid.

Effective May 18, 2023, Budega’s suspension complies with the minimum penalty in Appendix B of the Rules Sanctions Index. The maximum penalty includes a lifetime ban and a higher fine.
